Job Summary:
B&H Photo is seeking an experienced Operations Writer to create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for its NJ warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Write and review manuals and SOPs outlining business processes thoroughly
- Tour the facility by department and interact with teams to understand process flow and daily operations
- Ensure all business processes are documented in the same format/structure, presented in an easily digestible format, and are readily available to all users with accurate and updated information at all times
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify solutions to improve current processes
Requirements:
- Exceptional reading and writing skills
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Prior knowledge of SOP writing
- Analytical thinking and ability to break down processes to simplest detail
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Expert with Microsoft Suite and Teams
