Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer/maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, general laborer work, property management, painting etc. This role involves working in the Saginaw/Hemlock/St. Charles areas but further travel maybe be required.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform construction painting and caulking to finish surfaces and protect materials.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks, including cutting, shaping, and fastening materials.
- Assist as needed for building walls, trim work, painting, installing windows & roof repair and other tasks.
- Collaborate to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
