What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at B & I Contractors, Inc?
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working with the Marketing Manager to implement the company’s overall strategic marketing plan. The role will assist in managing website content and design, social media communication, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and any other marketing materials for promotional and/or sponsored events as well as business to business sales and recruiting. Oversee and execute all internal and external communications through various media including print, digital and video.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Outreach Coordination:
Work with established team champions to maximize community outreach events and work to build more team champions throughout the company.
Marketing Management:
- Coordination for branding | marketing events. Maintain partnerships with community organizations and businesses to support the B & I mission.
- Assist in the Development and Coordination of company branding materials.
- Organize and maintain all trade show event materials to include: Booth visuals and Logo giveaways | handouts.
- Create content, art, graphic design, etc. for ads of all sponsorships when appropriate.
- Monitor | Complete yearly industry or local business recognitions: Gulf Coast Business Review, Southeast Construction, Gulfshore Business, Engineering News Record, others as provided.
- Evaluate existing and new industry and local business recognitions to maximize the value of these activities.
- Responsible for Company Website content to ensure frequency, consistency and accuracy: Lead copywriting and content development | Company Photo’s, Department Changes, Awards and/or Recognition.
- Responsible for maintaining active social media presence regarding B&I Activities: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Maintain advertising process for B & I including: design of ads, placement in various publications and websites, monitor contracts and maintain contacts with ad representatives.
- Direct, produce and maintain photography, video, graphics and other print visuals.
Internal and External Communications:
Create | Maintain monthly and/or Quarterly Press Releases to include:
- New Employees –New Projects – Marketing Manager, Company News – Marketing Manager.
- Develop story, copy and speech writing.
- Develop and deliver compelling, consistent messages, content and events for employees that reflect B & I’s culture and core values via multiple channels.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in marketing.
Be able to adapt to change in the work environment, manage demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Possess strong time management, organizational and technical skills. Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Experience and/or common understanding of the Commercial Construction Industry a plus.

Executes all tasks in a safe manner and utilize safe work practices as appropriate.
HYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
