This is an entry level role where helper assists Journeymen and other Sheet Metal and Shop Employees in various entry level tasks as identified in the Essential Duties for our evening shift.
Job Responsibilities:
B & I makes safety a priority for all roles. As such this role may contain certain PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) necessary and required in the performance of certain tasks. It is the responsibility of the incumbent in the role to ensure he/she has received all pertinent safety protective equipment and commits to use of same when performing in the role.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction).
Must be able to hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
Must use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and stoop.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sorting out material, layout, assembling and entry level sealing.
- Assisting installation crews as a “ground man” which would entail cranking the winch on the duct lift and other entry level duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned up to Apprentice Level of knowledge.
- GED or High School Graduate Preferred.
- Understand English and follow directives.
- Must be willing to work third shift only: Monday- Friday (11pm-7:30am)
