Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of dry utility installation processes, project scheduling, and quality control measures. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising crew members, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that work meets specifications and standards.
- Interpret schematics and contract documents to guide project execution.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and changes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes in the underground construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams effectively.
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of projects.
