BRW Contracting, Inc. is a full-service site development company located in Land O' Lakes, Central Florida. We are currently seeking a FULL Pipe Crew, including:
- Pipe Foreman/excavator operator (must bring the entire crew)
- Loader Operator
- Pipelayer
- Tailman
- Two Hillmans (Laborers)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required in installing PVC, Concrete, HDPE, and Ductile Iron pipe.
- Familiarity with dewatering pumps, trench safety, and trench boxes is essential.
Pipe Foreman Requirements:
✅ Minimum of 1 year of experience required in a Foreman role.
✅ Prior experience operating an excavator.
✅ Ability to read and interpret project plans.
✅ Daily supervision of the crew and coordination with the Project Coordinator for material orders and scheduling.
✅ Regular communication with the Project Manager to review plans, assess site conditions, and track project progress.
✅ Extensive knowledge of water, storm, sewer/sanitary pipe, and fire line installation.
✅ Clean MVR required.
Responsibilities for the Crew:
- Install and repair all types of pipes – sanitary, storm, water line, fire line, structures, and pipe systems.
- Utilize instruments such as grade rods and transit levels.
- Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools.
- Lay out pipe routes, following instructions from the Pipe Foreman and project plans.
- Dig trenches manually or using trenching tools.
- Connect pipe sections securely and efficiently.
- Backfill and cover pipes with earth or other materials.
