Job Title : Sanitation Manager
Department : Quality, Safety & Environmental
Reports To : Director of Quality & Food Safety
Location : FL
FLSA Status : Exempt
Responsibilities -
- Supervise all Florida sanitation personnel.
- Maintain and monitor sanitation programs for Tennessee and West Virginia packinghouses while collaborating with onsite Sanitation Supervisors.
- Maintain and update the Master Sanitation List.
- Aggressively seek out areas needing enhanced cleaning efforts.
- Conduct regular training sessions with all sanitation employees.
- Work with the maintenance team to address equipment issues, verify proper equipment protections and stay aware of maintenance conducted on the equipment.
- Promptly address corrective actions for Environmental Monitoring testing failures.
- Follow all SSOPs and revise and create as needed.
- Stay current with all relevant food safety laws and regulations.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of ATP testing equipment and program.
- Assist with audits as needed.
- Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and per the standard set by B & W.
- Be a champion of safe work habits and foster a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager and assist Director of Quality and Food Safety as needed.
- EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or Equivalent
- COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Bi lingual (English / Creole) Preferred, not required.
- COMPUTER SKILLS Should be able to use Excel, Word & Outlook with moderate skill level.
- PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT USED General office equipment, safety related gear, chemical foamers, basic tools, cleaning utensils, acids, bases and other cleaning chemicals.
