Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement opportunities for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all resident rights are upheld.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in caregiving and direct support.
Skills
- Strong background in caregiving or home health services is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid techniques is essential for ensuring client safety.
- Experience in social work or senior care can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to assist with cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a healthy living space for clients.
- Understanding of resident rights and advocacy is crucial for supporting client autonomy.
