Job Overview: Locations in Mcminnville, OR and Dallas, OR
The objective of the Assistant Program Manager (APM) is to provide support to the staff; to ensure the home is assisting residents in learning life skills and experiencing life in a supportive and happy environment everyday. Assisting the Program Manager (PM) in implementing adequate support and training to meet all residents ISP goals and community experiences that ensures excellent services. In this role if coverage is needed you are to delegate or fill in as ancillary staff if needed.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of DSP's to ensure the highest quality of care for residents
- Manage daily operations of the residential program, including scheduling, assessments, and care planning
- Uphold resident rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Oversee medication administration and compliance with healthcare protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external partners to optimize resident well-being
Skills:
- Strong background in social work or related field
- Efficiency and proper time Management
- Experience in medication administration and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem-solve effectively
