Overview
BizSolutions 360, Inc. (B360) is seeking a Construction Management Representative (CMR) to join our team for the rehabilitation of waterfront structures and boathouse reconstruction at Little Sand Bay and Devil’s Island at Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Bayfield, WI. This project involves managing the construction process, overseeing quality control, safety, and progress tracking for this multi-phase federal project.
As the CMR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the construction activities meet required standards for safety, quality, and timelines, while supporting the Construction Management Firm (CM Firm). You will be the on-site point of contact for managing daily operations, reporting progress, and ensuring compliance with construction protocols and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- On-Site Management: Act as the full-time, on-site representative for Construction Management Firm (CM Firm), overseeing daily construction activities.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor and ensure the construction of waterfront structures, breakwaters, docks, and historical boathouse meets contract specifications.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain detailed daily reports documenting construction progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA 30-hour safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Lead daily toolbox safety talks and monitor compliance with safety protocols.
- Cost and Schedule Control: Assist in cost estimating, schedule analysis, and report discrepancies between baseline and actual timelines.
- Submittals & RFIs: Review and track submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and assist in the submission of contract change requests.
- Quality Control: Ensure construction work adheres to DoD and AF specifications, conducting quality inspections and ensuring corrective actions are taken if necessary.
- Project Communication: Facilitate communication between the Government, contractors, and the CM Firm, ensuring effective collaboration and resolution of project issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant construction management experience, specifically in marine construction, structural concrete, and demolition projects.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS Office Suite, and construction management software.
- Ability to read and understand construction contracts, plans, and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in remote areas, on uneven terrain, and travel by watercraft to Devil’s Island.
Work Schedule and Performance Period
- On-site work will be required from May 2025 to November 2025 (full-time).
- During off-season (November 2025–April 2026), the schedule will be reduced to part-time hours.

- List of recent and relevant projects in which the individual has worked to include name of project(s) and project location(s).
- Provide information regarding the project and the specific work that the CMR performed. In addition, include project owner representative contact information.

Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour
