Position Summary:
The Corporate Quality & Food Safety Specialist is an individual contributor that is responsible for supporting food safety and quality within the Bonduelle manufacturing pillar, under Corporate Quality & Food Safety. The position will work to support both business/functional priorities and key food safety/quality programs, including profitability/productivity initiatives, troubleshooting, technical support, risk mitigation efforts, project management, specification optimization, continuous improvement, etc.
What you will Do:
- Responsible for supporting Food Safety and Quality improvement efforts for key programs/customers, including business priorities, program/process continuous improvement, etc.
- Assist in driving actions that contribute to improvements in key performance metrics.
- Provide technical and project management support to improve Food Safety and Quality programs and minimize organizational risks.
- Optimize the specifications management system, including new raw/finished good commodities, specification enrichment opportunities, gap resolution, process improvements, etc.
- Support any organizational needs related to internal/external visits, meetings, presentations, where required.
- Support stakeholders by driving program/process alignment, collaboration and improvement, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, troubleshooting, risk assessments, etc.
- Special projects or other duties, as required/assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field required
- 1-3 years of experience within the food industry, with prior food safety/quality experience
- Prior experience with FDA and/or USDA preferred
- HACCP certification preferred
- Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets required
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization/analytics tools preferred
- Personable - able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Good analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel 30%, if needed
