Summary:
The Landscape Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction projects. Lead crew with layout, site work, hardscaping, planting, low voltage lighting, irrigation, and lawn/sod installations.

Job Duties:
Assist Project manager with layout and shooting of grades of pools. walkways, patios, walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits/fireplaces, wooden structures, plant beds, planting. and lawn areas.
Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities
Communicate effectively with sub-contractors, clients, architects and project managers.
Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members (2-4 people) to assist in the completion of landscape constructions.
Lead site work preparation including excavation, grading, drainage, utilities, sleeves. Responsible for sub grade levels for hardscaping, masonry, plant beds and lawn installation.
Coordinate with Irrigation/lighting Foreman to assist with low voltage lighting and irrigation installs incorporated into the landscape.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment. Including heavy equipment, full and mini size excavators, skid steers, various attachments, hydro seeder chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas.
Uphold safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and/or shop/yard.
Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are following government and company PPE standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily.
Comply with all company policies and regulations
Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis through LMN Crew including daily job reports, submitting receipts, equipment daily inspection forms.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the landscape/construction industry
Hoisting License 2A/1C
Carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting (Familiar with LMN Crew a plus, but will train)
Speak, read, and write English
Work Conditions:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work
Excellent stamina is required.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
