Focus of the Research:
Overview: The Generator Prototyping with AI Lab is dedicated to exploring innovative applications of artificial intelligence to drive entrepreneurship and innovation. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in identifying, prototyping, and documenting cutting-edge AI workflows that can be leveraged by entrepreneurs and businesses.
Research Focus Areas:
Emerging AI Applications:
- Investigate and document new ways AI is being utilized across various industries.
- Publish findings in a blog-style format every two weeks, highlighting 4-6 new AI applications.
- Stay updated with the latest AI trends, tools, and technologies.
Prototyping AI Workflows:
- Develop and prototype two new AI-driven workflows each semester.
- Focus on practical applications such as text-to-3D printable models, voice interaction to app prototypes, and more.
- Publish detailed blog posts showcasing the development process, challenges, and outcomes of each workflow.
Collaboration and Innovation:
- Work closely with the lab team to brainstorm and implement new ideas.
- Participate in lab meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
- Contribute to the lab's mission of empowering students and entrepreneurs to harness AI for impactful solutions.
Qualifications:
- Current Babson Student: Must be enrolled at Babson College.
- AI Tools Experience: Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Technical Skills: Experience with coding languages or software development is a plus.
- Strong Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and present findings clearly.
- Writing Proficiency: Excellent written communication skills for creating engaging blog posts.
