What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teach Baby Signs® Classes position at Baby Signs®?
Are you passionate about early childhood development and helping babies and toddlers learn? If so, then you may be interested in becoming a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor (ICI).
As a Baby Signs® Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach parent workshops, infant/toddler play classes, early childhood educator training, and other enrichment classes for parents and children from birth to age 5.
Baby Signs® Instructor, come from a variety of backgrounds, including education, speech language pathology, social work, therapy, interpreting, parenting, and child development. Many instructors teach at community based hospitals, state programs, parenting programs, child development centers, community centers, and other children's health and educational organizations, including Child Development Centers on US military bases around the world.
To become a Baby Signs® Instructor, you will complete a self-paced training program that includes both written and video materials. The training program covers infant sign language, early childhood development, and the Baby Signs® curriculum.
Once you have completed the training program, you will be certified to teach Baby Signs® classes. You will also have access to ongoing support and resources from the Baby Signs® team.
