Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to work on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2025. (Extra pay for holidays) provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. This role requires someone who is attentive, reliable, and able to create a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
- Plan and implement educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide personal care, including feeding, diapering, and dressing infants and toddlers.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks for older children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring the well-being of all children in care.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare or nannying, with references available upon request.
- Knowledge of child development principles, particularly related to toddler and infant care.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Ability to educate children through play-based learning activities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
- A patient, nurturing demeanor with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of families.
