Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks to foster learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
- Manage daily routines including nap times, playtime, and outings.
Skills
- Experience working with children in various capacities such as babysitting, nannying, or caregiving.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate children through creative play and structured activities.
- Familiarity with daycare settings or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards child development.
- Experience in toddler care or childcare settings is preferred.
