JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates the daily activities of BACs LaunchIT program. LaunchIT is a program that helps people with unique abilities learn the skills and confidence to pursue a career in Information Technology. Provides guidance and various community linkages to participants in BAC programs to support them and facilitate their successful handling of issues. Work is performed independently under limited supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position typically requires processing and interpreting of more complex, less clearly defined issues. Flexible schedule including some nights and weekends depending on the class schedule. May be required to provide instruction in similar programs.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assists and coordinates service provisions for the LaunchIT program for the participants and partner employers.
- Schedules and facilitates individual program planning meetings with participants, referral sources, family members, and other providers and supports team members as appropriate; ensures that plans are developed for each participant and monitored monthly.
- Assist with program planning and implementation activities; monitor and evaluate effectiveness; suggest improvements as needed.
- Maintains accurate documentation on individual participant objectives and progress towards goals; submit documentation to program administrators and other authorized recipients as scheduled.
- Facilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods including live instructor led, virtual classroom instruction, live virtual training, and live one on one individualized virtual training.
- Serves as a liaison between participants and family/community members to ensure accurate and timely relay of information.
- Assists with tracking LaunchIT program data for outcome measurements in shared database and participant surveys to obtain and maintain future funding for the program.
- Collaborates with Codecraft Works team to address concerns with attendance or training progress and helps to resolve participant complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Assists with monitoring participant files to ensure quality assurance and timely completion of reports and documentation in compliance with legal, funding, and accrediting agencies.
- Attend meetings as required to discuss participant progress and program effectiveness.
- Assists with monthly billing of funding sources is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- None
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral science, or related field.
- Two or more years of experience working in social services.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the IT field.
- Four or more years of experience in education.
- Experience working in a remote setting.
- A combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may suffice for the above requirements.
- Experience with creating and teaching curriculum.
- Must satisfy Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level 2 background screening requirements.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have, within the first 3 months of employment, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong networking skills and/or experience with recruitment.
- Experience teaching/training on a virtual platform.

- Ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and applicable department/organization specific software.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret program related laws and regulations and establish necessary work processes and procedures.
- Ability to develop curriculum and training manuals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve goals.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to arrive at solutions and suggest improvements to processes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Ability to regularly attend work and arrive punctually for designated work schedule.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
TRAVEL:
Limited local travel (e.g., to meetings/trainings and to area businesses) will occur occasionally.
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE (IF APPLICABLE):
Must be authorized to access and work on government installations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Depending on the functional area of the assignment, tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials lightweight (up to 20 pounds). It may involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, or standing. These duties can be done with or without reasonable accommodation.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Tasks are regularly performed inside without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes).
SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Some tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity.
