The Bottling Line Equipment Operator is the foremost expert of the machinery on the Bottling Line who leverages their mechanical knowledge to their fellow team members in order to maximize the team production output. They will do so in the following manner:

Louisville Distilling Company was founded by father and son, Lincoln and Wes Henderson. Their first whiskey, Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels was inspired by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s lifetime spent crafting some of the world’s finest spirits. Responsibilities
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
* Operate bottling line machines/equipment in a correct, safe and efficient manner while demonstrating an excellent working knowledge of company safety policies and procedures. Practices same with regard to self, co-workers and equipment.
* Coordinate and assist set-up operations on a daily basis.
* Fully trained, knowledgeable, and competent with all bottling equipment & associated tasks including performance of Quality checks, Safety procedures, completion of Production related documentation, etc.
* Assume responsibility for and respond to Line calls (Emergency Work Orders).
* Ability to perform multiple line tasks to keep the line running including but not limited to: product changeovers, CIP, trouble shooting, engage pumps per HMI, assess and disposition glass and other component defects, and utilize the fork lift to keep stations stocked with raw components.
* Able to perform all job functions on the line and act as reliever for other bottling employees, when needed.
* Quickly identify problems with bottling line equipment, assist and train the team to identify/troubleshoot, make adjustments & corrections to line equipment as necessary.
* Maintain clear communication with the Supervisor, Manager, and maintenance personnel.
* Responsible for providing real time feedback/Improvement Opportunities on existing procedures, checklists, etc. to Supervisor, Lead Operator, Quality Manager, etc..
* Actively participates and is engaged in safety initiatives, problem solving, Lean, Self-Directed Teams, continuous improvement and line efficiencies.
* Perform housekeeping activities as required.
* Ability to work any shift and/or overtime as required.
* Perform other duties as assigned
Measures of Success
* Bottling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to Bottling Efficiency, Right First Time, productivity, etc. are met or exceeded per departmental targets.
* Meet or exceed all departmental safety requirements including, but not limited to,
* completion of Safety Observations, participation on Safety Committee, etc.
Corporate Citizenship/Responsibility:
* Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety guidelines and regulations
* Promote and support the Bacardi Corporate Quality Policy
* Promote and support the Bacardi Corporate Social Responsibility Program
Protective Clothing:
* Employee uniform will be provided
* Bottling operation personal protective equipment will be provided
* Employee must follow all good manufacturing and quality practices, including hair covering, as required

* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
* Must possess strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Minimum Education:
* High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Basic maintenance experience required
* Manufacturing experience preferred
* Technical training recommended
