Inventory Manager

BACE LLC (BACE), a division of Komar Industries, is a world leader in the waste equipment industry. The company manufactures and services balers, compactors, and provides parts and resources to customers.

BACE is seeking an Inventory Manager to provide direction and leadership in the smooth flow of materials and supplies through our facility to support production. This role will also support supply chain management by organizing and analyzing data to make informed recommendations to management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor potential and current "hot" shortages and take action to eliminate downtime.
• Coordinate Inventory Control Activities (Daily Cycle Counts of Floor Stock, Inventory Adjustments as required and Root Cause Analysis)
• Investigate and resolve material flow movement issues, inventory accuracy, and material storage issues.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings and DLAs to communicate information necessary to optimize product flow.
• Collaborates with managers and other departments to develop and modify inventory control processes and procedures.
• Utilize MRP/ERP system to monitor and update inventory.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve material handling processes, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
• Implement inventory control systems and ensure regular audits are conducted.
• Oversee min/max setup program for operations and service.

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
• Minimum of five years of inventory control or material handling experience in a production or industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a sheet metal, welding, or fabrication environment
• Highly proficient with ERP/MRP systems, NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints/shop drawings.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
