SUMMARY :

Starting Rate : $16.00-$19.00 / Hour

Hours : M-Thurs 5 : 30am-4 : 00pm with (mandatory OT on Fridays depending on production needs)

Address : 322W 32nd St. Charlotte, NC 28206 will be relocating to York SC in Summer 2025.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution
Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Locates and packs materials for shipping.
Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items.
Ability to meet production standards
Maintain good attendance record and be able to work overtime as needed
Maintain good safety record
Maintain positive attitude

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Direct responsibility for designated department(s)

QUALIFICATIONS :

Certified to operate a forklift

Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of inventory control

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Previous stock or inventory experience a plus

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and / or training for job classification.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Depending on job classification, may require basic math and / or tape measure reading,

Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in standard and complex situations.
