Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Bach to Rock. In this key role, you will deliver engaging music education to young children, inspire a love for music in our youngest learners, and create a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Your primary focus will be on teaching our specialized classes, including Rock 'n' Roll (ages 1-3), Rock City (ages 3-5), Kids 'n' Keys (ages 5-7), and Fun with Music (ages 6-8), with a secondary role in providing private music lessons to young students.

Responsibilities
- Teach Early Childhood Music Classes: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Rock 'n' Roll, Rock City, Kids 'n' Keys, and Fun with Music, following our structured curriculum tailored to young children.
- Inspire a Love for Music: Foster enthusiasm and joy for music in students through interactive and playful teaching methods that cater to their developmental needs.
- Classroom Management: Implement effective classroom management techniques to create a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment.
- Encourage Parent Involvement: Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress and ways to support their musical journey at home.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with fellow instructors and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
- Participate in Community Engagement: Join in school events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote our programs and share the joy of music with the wider community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Proven experience teaching music to young children, with a track record of engaging students of various ages and skill levels.
- Proficiency in piano and experience with early childhood music instruction; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teaching certifications or additional music-related qualifications are a plus.
- A genuine passion for music and a commitment to inspiring young learners to achieve their musical aspirations.
