Seasonal Grocery Garden Sales Associate

Hiring Multiple Positions

Days, Afternoons, Evenings, and Weekends shift times available

Job Duties:

Work directly at the Plymouth Bachman's Garden Center Lunds & Byerly's grocery store location
Connect with customers and support them in the selection of their products
Provide support and answers to customer's questions
Ring up customer purchases and provide exceptional service along with assisting with carry-outs and cart retrieval
Support stock placement and product movement throughout the day to maintain merchandising standards and for replenishment
Care for product by watering and pruning. Identify, remove, and list non-saleable product
Follow all safety and loss prevention practices
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of outdoor plants and care
Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills is required
Experience with merchandising and/or visual dispalys, desired
Comfortable with Point of sale/register procedures and tablet usage
Must be able to lift 20- 50lbs. with frequent bending
Willing and able to work in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions

Schedule:

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
