Bachus & Schanker, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Case Manager to join its Complex Litigation Team in the Denver office. The firm's founding goal was to level the playing field between accident victims and large insurance companies, and the firm's core practice area is still Personal Injury law, and we are looking for a Case Manager to join our team who shares our commitment to provide clients and team members with superior support.
As a Case Manager you will act as a liaison between the client, the attorney, the insurance companies, and the medical providers. In this role you will be focused on client communication and problem solving. You will manage treatment updates, establish claims, and open files. You will help take our Complex Litigation cases through the medical records/bills collection process and the preparation of the settlement demand package and will also work with medical providers to confirm patient balances and reductions. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain your professionalism and deliver unparalleled customer service to your clients is the measurement of your success.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an energetic self-starter well versed in organization, time management, and most importantly, superior customer service
- Works well under pressure, as our office is continuously fast-paced
- Has the ability to empathize with your clients (who are hurting physically, financially, and emotionally) matched with your ability to aggressively work their case so that it moves forward through the process
- Looks forward to the challenge and rewards of serving your clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse and large caseload
- Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing and one-time activities, events, and projects
- Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information
- A positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Ability to work independently under tight time constraints
Benefits
- Compensation $45,000 - $55,000, DOE
