A Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotels' dishes, flatware, glassware, and cookware,
- Properly operate dishwashing machines. Ensure the appropriate temperature is correct for proper sanitation.
- Wash all dishes, pots, pans, and other items used in the restaurants, kitchen, and banquet department.
- Break down all boxes, empty trash containers into the dumpster, and clean containers.’
- Clean kitchen walls, floor mats, and mop floors daily.
- Ensure the floor is dry and debris-free after each session or shift.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Previous dishwashing/stewarding experience in a heavy volume restaurant preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and flexible, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
