What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Utility/Steward position at The Classic Catering People?
The Classic Catering People is looking for the right people to join our team of Dishwashers for our off-premise catering business in the Baltimore area.
Dishwashers are responsible for:
- Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
- Putting away clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment and cafeteria; including sweeping and scrubbing floors.
- May be called upon to assist with basis food preparation.
- Following Company policies and procedures while meeting required safety standards.
- Being outgoing, energetic, service-oriented and possessing excellent communication skills.
- Maintaining a professional and well-kept personal appearance.
- Being a team player and possessing a “can do” attitude.
The ideal candidate has:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a sanitation capacity in the cafeteria, restaurant or catering industry
- Ability to be flexible and able to accommodate early mornings, daytime, nights, weekends and holiday hours with access to reliable transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
