Nestled on a wide stretch of sandy beach, Back on the Beach Café( BOTB) offers appetizing meals featuring local and seasonal cuisine with breathtaking views of ocean, mountain, pier, and Catalina Island. Generations of Angelinos have been coming to our landmark restaurant since 1989. Both indoor & outdoor seating is available along with extensive catering services and event planning.

BOTB is searching for seasonal applicants who are motivated, friendly ,energetic and who can flourish in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment. BOTB Server is responsible for taking and serving guest orders, upselling, and ensuring proper cash handling and credit procedures, while exceeding guest expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Set up side station and performs assigned side work
• Displays a high level of professional integrity and ethical conduct
• Maintain calmness and composure under high levels of pressure
• Adapt to frequent change, fast paced environment or unexpected delays
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Ability to multitask and uses time efficiently and effectively
• As requested by management, performs other work activities to support the safe and efficient operation of the restaurant
• Check identification to verify legal age (21) requirements for all guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
• Food Handlers card is required

Server positions available

• 2 yrs server experience
• Professional
• Team player
• Food Handler Certified
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
• Ability to lift/carry unto 15-50 lbs
• Part-time and full-time positions available
• Night Shift 2pm - 9pm
• ****** Weekend availability is required ******
• Expect long, busy days on your feet

Pay: $17 per hour ( plus tips $150 - $400)

Hours per week:
18-24, 24-35

Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour
