Part Time Chiropractic Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in supporting the chiropractic practice by assisting with patient care and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. This position requires a blend of clinical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to enhance the overall patient experience. This position also requires being comfortable with being hands on with patient therapies, including massaging pain cream and/or gel on the patient.

Shift hours:

• Sundays - 8:45 am- approx. 1:45 pm (Open -Close)
• Tuesdays - 6:45 am - 1 pm
• Wednesdays - 8:45 am - approx. 2:45 pm (Open - Close)
• Thursdays - 6:45 am - 1 pm

Attire: Scrubs (any color) and Tennis Shoes

Duties

• Assist chiropractors by performing patient therapies.
• Applying and massaging in pain cream and/or gel on the patients.
• Removing acupuncture needles from patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Washing, drying, and folding linens as instructed.
• Support patients in understanding their treatment options and encourage adherence to prescribed therapies.

Skills

• Some knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments effectively.
• Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach towards learning new techniques related to chiropractic care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
