LSW/LISW in Holistic Private Practice - Supervision Provided

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LISW) in Ohio to join a small private practice in Cincinnati with a holistic approach. This role is ideal for a clinician with at least 2 years of clinical experience who is passionate about integrating alternative healing methods and a mind-body approach into therapeutic practice. In this position, you will work with diverse clientele, with a range of presenting issues/diagnoses, supporting them in overcoming challenges through a blend of traditional psychotherapy techniques and holistic modalities.

This is a hybrid position. Part of the week would consist of virtual therapy sessions from your own home, and 2-3 days are available for in-person sessions in a fully furnished office space.

If needed, weekly supervision can be provided for the candidate to attain LISW licensure after completing the required clinical hours.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches and integrating holistic practices as appropriate (e.g., mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, etc.).
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic support, including regular check-ins and treatment evaluations.
• Participate in weekly supervision and case consultations to continue professional growth and maintain licensure.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore and address their mental health concerns.
• Stay up to date with best practices, continuing education, and research in both clinical social work and holistic therapies.
• Option to conduct group therapy focused on a range of topics, depending on the clinician’s desired area of specialty.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active LSW or LISW licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a preference for experience in private practice or holistic settings.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, etc.).
• Knowledge or interest in integrating holistic practices into therapy.
• Personal or professional training/experience in mindfulness, yoga, energy healing, reiki, or acupressure/acupuncture is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, supportive team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and case management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
