Job Description:
Collision / Body / Paint Technician
Requirements:
As an Auto Body / Paint Technician you will be part of all phases of collision repair and be a persistent problem solver. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and maintain a high attention to detail.
2 years of prior experience would be advantageous but we are willing to train the right individual.
Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Motivated and mechanically minded individual
- Ability to assess vehicle damage and determine the best option for repair
- Required to remove damaged parts of a vehicle and replace them with repaired or new parts without damaging the surrounding area
- Ability to lift over fifty pounds
- Implement the use of various tools and supplies for repairs
- Free range of motion to work with small parts in small spaces
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers
- Attention to detail and pride in performing quality work
- Knowledge of collision repair estimating software and estimating is a plus
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Wage will be based upon work experience. We are willing to train the right motivated individual.
TECHNICIAN HOURS:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
15 Minute Breaks at 10:00am and 3:00pm
1 hour lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm
*Overtime hours generally available if wanted
