Back 2 Health Physical Therapy is seeking a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. We are a successful, and established, Physical Therapist owned practice with three locations throughout the Los Angeles area. NEW GRADS WELCOME!
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Explains the physical therapy procedures and equipment to patients and checks for understanding
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers in physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs
• Document patient care services by charting in files and EMR according to guidelines in a timely manner
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and practice
• Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from Physical Therapist
• Reports all changes to patient’s condition to the Physical Therapist as immediacy dictates
Requirements:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Strong computer skills
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
Education and Experience
• Graduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant in California
• Current CPR Certification
This position is full time (40 hours weekly)
Schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8am - 4pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am - 7pm
