What will you do as the Logistics Account Coordinator?
- Act as an overall communicator between both Account Manager(s) and Carrier Sales Representatives
- Work with the Carrier Sales team to verify loads are brokered and approving rates
- Negotiate with Carrier Sales team on getting loads covered, pricing, and other tasks associated
- Work quickly to identify and resolve problems/issues that develop and notify all parties involved
- Responsible at times to dispatch and track assigned carriers with the accurate load information
- Resolve customer service and billing issues regarding shortages, damages, and/or delays
- Assist Account Manager(s) in new account onboarding to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved
What qualifications do you need to become a Logistics Account Coordinator?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or management preferred
- Previous experience in logistics
- Strong work ethic and self-driven
- Confident decision-making skills, and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Exceptional verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in order to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
