Now Hiring: Assembler

We're looking for a detail-oriented Assembler to join our crew. In this role, you'll help bring our custom workbenches to life-making sure each one is built to spec and ready to ship on time. Assembler Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics

#1) Assemble painted workbenches with precision, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards and are completed on schedule. Work through these six to assemble each workbench.

Step 1: Retrieve the powder coated parts and components per assigned work order, and carefully transport them to your designated work area. Each part should be clearly labeled with the corresponding order number.

Step 2: Thoroughly inspect each powder coated part for defects, such as missing welds, paint flaws, deep scratches, dents, and any other imperfections before assembling the workbenches. Ensure that only parts meeting our quality standards are used. Damaged parts should be set aside and not used in assembly.

Step 3: Review the layout plan and stage your work areas to optimize efficiency in assembling each workbench.

Step 4: Assemble the workbench following the layout plan and the provided reference image for the finished product. This includes installing drawers, adding drawer mats, divider kits, grease fittings, casters, and fasteners. Use a grinder to make any necessary adjustments.

Step 5: Weld the workbench tops securely to the assembled frame.

Step 6: Detail the completed workbench so it's perfect for the customer upon delivery. This includes greasing each drawer and applying oil to the top of the workbench for a polished finish.

Success Metric: Less than 5% of orders require reworking due to errors in assembly in a 60-day rolling period

Success Metric: Zero shipping delays due to work pace of assembly

#2) Sort and organize delivered inventory to their appropriate location so it's easy to find. Deliveries occur approximately twice a month.

Success Metric: 100% of inventory should be put away by the end of the day
