Description
Slice Room Operator in Pittsville, WI. Starting $18.75 an hour, plus $1,000 sign on bonus.
Benefits:

Schedule:
- 2-2-3 schedule 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on following week 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off
- 6am to 6pm or 6 pm to 6 am. $2.00/hr differential for the night shift.

The Slice Room Associate prepares raw product to meet customer specifications in compliance with the company’s safe Quality Food Program.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Operation, troubleshooting and sanitation of Slice Room.
- Frozen fruit transport from freezer.
- Stage fruit.
- Spearing fruit.
- Pull tags off wooden bins.
- Dump and de-clump berries.
- Auger operation – Metal Detector.
- Operation of: metal detector, sizing table, trash blower, Optyx Raptor Sorter, auger, shaker table, weigh belt, Conveyor 1, Conveyor 2, Urschel Slicers, Sweco Shakers, Leach Hopper.
- Preform magnet inspection.
- Metal detector monitoring.
- Sanitation
- Staging and Slice Room Pre-Operational Inspections.
- Optical Sorter check.
- Monitor water flow.
- Forklift checks/operation.
- Breakdown and separate wooden bins.
- Provide proper chemical usage.
- Subtract sort outs.
Work Environment:
- Hair restraints are required. Earplugs, safety glasses and or other PPE may be required.
- Ability to constantly stand/walk; climb stairs; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with left or right hand.
- Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors in tight quarters.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 Ibs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with temperatures ranging from 55°-95°F.
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license
