Description
Tank Operator in Pittsville, WI. Starting $18.75 an hour, plus $1,000 sign on bonus.
Benefits:

Schedule:
- 2-2-3 schedule 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on following week 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off
- 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am / $2.00 shift differential for night shift
- Scheduled holidays off
The Tank Operator is responsible for maintaining tank activity on all tanks to meet customer specifications in compliance with the company’s Safe Quality Food Program.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Operation, troubleshooting and sanitation of process tanks.
- Receiving of liquid sugar and transfer to silos.
- Syrup preparation and holding.
- Perform equipment checks at established intervals during processing to ensure product quality and equipment performance.
- Perform Pre-Operational Inspections.
- Rework add back.
- Tanker Receiving.
- Tanker seal application.
- Sanitation
- Run and monitor CIP’s.
- Operate and monitor the Leaching process to Infusion.
- Operate and monitor tank transfers.
- Provide proper chemical usage and titration.
- Operate and monitor Sweco’s and Syrup Filtration System.
- Forklift Checks/Operation.
- Complete pomace sealing and log sheet.
- Operate concentrate dumper.
Work Environment:
- Hair restraints are required. Earplugs, safety glasses and or other PPE may be required.
- Ability to constantly stand/walk; climb stairs; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with left or right hand.
- Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors in tight quarters.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 Ibs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with temperatures ranging from 55°-95°F.
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license
