Badger State Staffing is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join our client's growing team. This position is responsible for providing on-site service and repair of hydraulic systems. The primary focus will be on fabrication and assembly of hydraulic components, including welding, cutting, and drilling. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and fabrication skills with a proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Primary Duties:
- Perform on-site service and repair of hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and component replacement
- Fabricate and assemble hydraulic components, including welding, cutting, drilling, and grinding
- Operate overhead cranes, drill presses, and other power tools as required for fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, fluid power schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime and local travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent experience in fabrication, including welding (MIG or TIG)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, fluid power schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Experience with fluid power systems is highly beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
