What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator (3rd Shift) position at Badger State Staffing?
We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator for a full-time, direct hire position on third shift. This role involves operating a high-quality press to produce visually appealing and precise prints on various materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the print industry and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Primary Duties:
- Read and understand job jackets
- Change press size using cassette system
- Perform web press make-ready functions at standard allowed times
- Oversee mounting of printing plates on plate cylinders
- Oversee mounting of blankets on blanket and coating cylinders
- Obtain die cut shapes as per customer approved proofs
- Run live production at standard press speeds
- Assure that all procedures are followed (roll tags, pull samples, sign offs, time sheets, stock reporting, maintenance reporting, etc.)
- Assist with scheduling for efficiencies, where appropriate
Shift: Training will take place Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Upon completion, you will transition to Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of printing experience
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach, stand, inspect, and listen
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
