Job Overview
Inspect manufactured, fabricated, and repaired components and parts for conformance to specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Examine alignment of parts and measure parts for conformance to specified dimensions utilizing measuring and testing equipment (i.e. Micrometers, Height Stands, Calipers)
Manual drafting to document dimensional requirements and features as found.
Assure assembly of final product with parts list to detect missing hardware.
Examine parts as applicable to work assignment.
Verifies location of bolt and rivet holes, as applicable to work assignment.
Verify production documentation to ensure that all assembly, inspection, and test steps were performed according to specifications.
Record inspection data such as serial number, type and percent of defects, and rework required.
Performs Receipt Inspection as may be required.
Reviews and approve documents as may be required.
Verifies all quality aspects are performed in accordance with approved Quality Assurance Program, procedures, operating instructions, and forms.
