Description
Position Summary :
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing a wide variety of quality control functions and operation support.
Reports to : Quality Supervisor
Functional Responsibilities :
- Perform routine audits of production processes in all production areas.
- Identify and quantify critical, major and minor defects.
- Verify that incoming packaging components meet specification and release them for use in production.
- Perform incoming raw ingredient sampling.
- Review work order and production paperwork ensuring that results are within established specification ranges and Good Documentation Practices are followed.
- Coordinate the control or release of conforming and nonconforming products.
- Pull samples from manufactured lots and perform confirmatory testing of finished products and WIP using AQL statistical plan.
- Communicate effectively with various employees, including operators, mechanics, leads, and department management to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Must be fully trained and competent in all required areas.

High School Degree or equivalent required
