1.0 POSITION SUMMARY: Hydrovac Swamper
Job Summary: Hydrovac swamper is responsible for providing support to the
hydrovac operator by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the hydrovac
truck during excavation projects. They assist in setting up, operating, and
maintaining equipment while following safety protocols and environmental
guidelines.
2.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
2.1. The Hydrovac Swamper reports to the project manager/ foreman.
2.2. The Foreman supervises the Hydrovac Operator and crew.
3.0 Requirements
3.1. Education
3.1.1. Required: GED
3.1.2. Preferred: High school/college
3.2. Experience
3.2.1. Required: 1 years
3.2.2. Preferred: 3 years
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in construction, excavation, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to hydrovac operations.
