Job Requirements
The Procurement Analyst Principal is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing electronic components within the defense aerospace industry. To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of procurement and/or supply chain management experience; or High School diploma and 10 years of procurement and/or supply chain management experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in a large, complex electronics design and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry regulations and the role of procurement in complex industries.
Key Performance Indicators
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to:
- Implement sourcing processes and improvement initiatives based on strategic plans developed by category management.
- Develop and maintain a supplier base by actively sourcing, identifying, and evaluating suppliers and conducting negotiation processes to obtain maximum benefits for the company.
- Select and monitor suppliers to ensure they meet delivery and quality standards.
