Procurement Expertise
The Procurement Analyst Principal requires expertise in procurement and supply chain management, particularly in the defense aerospace industry. This includes:
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and flow down requirements.
- Experience in a large, complex electronics design and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry regulations and the role of procurement in complex industries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of procurement and/or supply chain management experience; or High School diploma and 10 years of procurement and/or supply chain management experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience leading major procurement efforts in a Department of Defense (DOD) contracting environment.
- Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation).
- Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.
