Job Description
The BAE Systems TacAir Product Line is looking for an individual to support a dual Sustainment Operations Program Manager and Operations Factory Management role at the Canal St Facility. The right candidate must have an active Secret clearance and either an active SAP/SAR or the ability to obtain one. Essential functions of this role are:
  • High Motivation, with the ability to manage and complete diverse and urgent tasks
  • Strong personal skills, with the ability to lead and work with diverse teams

Operations Program Manager
  • Oversee daily operations on multiple Field Return (Warranty and Sustainment) Programs
  • Regulate and update Operations methods and processes for Sustainment program
  • Assist in the creation of Sustainment strategy & program for new Field Return Programs in the TacAir product line, such as creating Program Documentation (Field Return Plan, Transition plans, etc.)
  • Oversee planning, tech ops, procurement, and subcontracts for Field Returns
  • Manage cost accounts for Operations across Sustainment
  • Liaison between Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Office
  • Report status of Work in Process (WIP) across various factories to upper management
  • Create and assist with Field Return / Sustainment Proposals
Factory Manager
  • Set daily and weekly Operations priorities across multiple labs and factories at Canal St facility, managing priority levels for several different programs across equipment and personnel
  • Lead daily status meeting with factory teams (Operations, Quality, and Engineering)
  • Hybrid lab: Work with engineering lab manager to share use of equipment, collaborate on processing of units
  • Oversee processing of both field returns and production units in lab
  • Ensure factory is properly staffed and equipment is maintained
  • Maintain monthly Staffing and Capacity Analysis charts
  • Monitor Factory Support Allocation (FSA) rates and adjust Support to Touch ratio when needed
  • Ensure there are no barriers to completing product on time to contract
  • Organize and oversee rework done at other factories
  • Report status of production and lab to upper management


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Minimum Secret level clearance required.
  • Must be able to attain classified, special access clearance.
  • Must have ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate exceptional organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current Classified Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • Understanding of Military Specifications and BAE Systems policies and processes.
  • Technical background or experience with EW Systems preferred.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
