As an intern, you will participate in our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will have the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. This is a summer position that has a typical timeframe of June – August. Internships and Co-ops may be shortened or extended at the discretion of the company. In this position you will be supporting the Platforms & Services Headquarters. This position is expected to be full time remote with a potential opportunity to go onsite depending on location. In this role, you will bring a passion for Human Resources & Talent Acquisition processes to support a team of recruiters and operations specialists with relevant projects and trainings as needed.
As an Talent Acquisition Intern, you will:
- Track team call logistics to include cadence and content, then coordinate with key stakeholders biweekly to create team call meeting decks
- Maintain and promote use of Team Shared Sites, keep information updated and in sync with Enterprise processes/sites
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop/update new recruiter training resources using Microsoft Office or SharePoint supporting Talent Acquisition / Human Resources needs
- Support recruiting process audits as needed
- Assist in updating and tracking quarterly usage metrics for Talent Acquisition platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Phenom CRM, and more
- Other duties as assigned or required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Compliance, or other related fields
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize projects with varying deadlines
- Strong organization skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Local to a site location (Minneapolis, MN or San Diego, CA)
- SharePoint creation experience
- Data Analytics experience (PowerBI)
- Previous HR related internship experience
- Experience leading projects to completion
- Completed at least two years of an undergraduate degree
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $43847 - $59143
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
