Job Overview:
BAE Systems Electronic Systems is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Systems Integration Specialist to join our existing team. This individual will lead the platform integration of a novel multi-function RF system, collaborating with scientists, engineers, and industry partners to realize innovative solutions for complex national security problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead integration and test activities, including team leadership, supporting field tests, integrating hardware/software on platforms at remote sites, and managing customer interactions.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to integrate, debug performance issues, and recommend solutions.
- Develop test plans and associated infrastructure to ensure test strategies meet customer expectations.
- Communicate ideas, concerns, and solutions effectively to the team, industry partners, customers, and management.
- Ensure an appropriate level of rigor is applied to achieve systems that meet customer needs.
- Apply critical thinking and analytical skills across multiple domains to solve problems in innovative ways.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of relevant industry experience with an emphasis on hardware integration and testing.
- Proven success in leading small teams in RF integration and test efforts.
- Manage schedule and day-to-day tasking of a small interdisciplinary team.
- Experience in RF test methods, systems, and equipment.
- Ability to travel to and work at remote sites in support of test events, meetings, and training activities as required.
- Strong root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Active TS clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python and/or MATLAB for data parsing and visualization.
- Experience with Linux and command-line interfaces.
- Proficiency in using test equipment, including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
- U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
