SAP Finance AR Consultant

Baer is looking for an SAP Finance AR Consultant for a 12 month project located in Knoxville, TN.

Title: SAP Finance/AR Consultant

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Description:

• Configure SAP Accounts Receivable (AR) module to meet business requirements, including setting up customer master data, billing, credit management, and collections.
• Set up and customize the Interest Calculation functionality within the SAP system, ensuring accurate and timely calculation of overdue interest on customer accounts.
• Configure and maintain the Dunning process, including the setup of dunning levels, dunning procedures, and the creation of dunning notices, to effectively manage overdue accounts.
• Set up and configure Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) integration within SAP to facilitate automated processing of bank transactions and reconciliation.
• Develop detailed test scripts based on functional requirements and perform thorough testing to validate configurations, ensuring that all business processes function smoothly and meet end-user expectations.
• Work closely with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and business processes.
• Document configurations, test results, and troubleshooting steps, and provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users as needed.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AR and other SAP Finance modules, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in SAP FICO, particularly with Accounts Receivable (AR) module configuration.
• Proven experience with Interest Calculation Configuration, Dunning Configuration, and Electronic Bank Statement Configuration in SAP.
• Experience in writing detailed test scripts, conducting system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of SAP financial processes and integration points with other SAP modules.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP system configurations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
