Baerlocher USA headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations at our manufacturing facility located in Cincinnati, OH.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storing of finished goods and raw materials.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement among staff.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage established safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, monitor warehouse performance, and generate reports for management review.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage configurations to maximize space utilization and streamline workflows, implementing best practices for inventory management and material handling.
- Coordinate with our logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, and monitoring carrier performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and customer service, to meet company goals and customer requirements, and address any warehouse-related issues or concerns.
- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity, soliciting feedback from staff and implementing best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, addressing any safety hazards or compliance issues promptly.
- Proven track record of leadership and success in managing warehouse operations and supervising staff.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for handling hazardous materials.
- Forklift certification and other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to collaborate with other departments to meet company goals and customer requirements.

- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising warehouse operations and conducting inspections.
- Bending and Stooping: Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access materials and equipment in the warehouse.
