Luggage Dispatcher (Guest Service Representative)

The Luggage Dispatcher is responsible for greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and assisting with the secure storage, delivery, and retrieval of luggage.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering a welcoming first impression.

• Assist guests with storage of check-in and check-out luggage.

• Coordinate and ensure the timely delivery of luggage to guest rooms.

• Offer detailed information about resort amenities, activities, transportation, and services.

• Assist with groceries and luggage carts.

• Provide guest with rented scooters, strollers, and wheelchair (if needed).

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.

• Address and resolve concerns related to luggage handling or storage.

• Ensure luggage areas are secure, clean, and well-organized.

• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure guest and personal safety.

• Uphold resorts brand standards, values, and image at all times.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1 years of experience in luggage services or hospitality preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts including AM shifts, PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

• Standing, sitting, walking, repetitive movement, lifting of heavy items (up to 70 pounds).

Salary Range: $14.00 - $16.00 an hour
