Luggage Supervisor

The Luggage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily luggage handling operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily luggage handling activities, including receiving, tagging, storing, and delivering guest luggage.

• Monitor workflows to ensure luggage is handled efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner.

• Assist in managing daily tasks and ensuring there is proper coverage.

• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and service standards among team members.

• Ensure all interactions with guests reflect the resorts standards for courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Track and maintain accurate records of luggage handling, including lost-and-found items.

• Submit regular reports to the Facility Manager on performance and guest satisfaction.

• Ensure all team members comply with safety procedures to prevent injuries and damages to luggage.

• Uphold resort standards, values, and image at all times.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 2 years of experience in luggage handling or a similar role with 1 year experience in leadership position.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts including AM shifts, PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

• Standing, sitting, walking, repetitive movement, lifting of heavy items (up to 70 pounds).

Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00 an hour

(Please note that the salary range referenced in this job posting is inclusive of both the hourly rate and estimated tips earned per hour).
