We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring that all dining needs are met. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of guest relations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, offering assistance in making selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable or similar systems.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure that guests have everything they need throughout their dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- A willingness to learn about menu items and enhance upselling techniques for improved sales performance.
