Description
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a strong training and career development program at Bailey. Related responsibilities including the development of a strong onboarding program and assisting with process improvement and employee engagement programming. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. The Learning & Development Manager reports to the HR Director.
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
Training
Develop training programs for all positions and departments, with a special emphasis on technicians, sales representatives, project managers, and coordinators.
Implement and maintain training programs and initiatives, including scheduling, registration, assessment, reporting, etc.
Manage and coordinate assigned staff, including technician trainers.
Create and lead training sessions (e.g., customer service) in-person and remotely.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a strong onboarding process for all positions.
Ensure all new hires have outstanding experiences throughout the onboarding and initial training period.
Establish, define, and communicate career development pathways, so that staff understand the requirements and opportunities to advance throughout the organization.
Document and clarify roles, responsibilities, and job descriptions to assist with productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Drive employee engagement activities and programming to promote employee satisfaction and productivity.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Document and streamline processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and cultural buy in.
OTHER
Handle additional tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements

Education/Training/Experience:
College Degree (required), with degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred
MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is preferred.
3 years in training and/or learning development
2 years of demonstrated experience applying process improvement methodologies
